GUNTHER Still Sees Brock Lesnar As His WWE "Final Boss"

Wrestling Brock Lesnar remains GUNTHER's dream match, but...will it ever happen?

GUNTHER remains hopeful that he'll get to step inside the ring with Brock Lesnar someday, but the ex-Intercontinental Champion is obviously aware things are very much up in the air right now.

The WWE star told The Daily Mail that he's always viewed Lesnar as "his final boss" in pro wrestling. GUNTHER was thrilled to work some spots opposite Brock in the 2023 Royal Rumble, but any hopes of working a full-on singles bout vs. Lesnar this year have been put on ice by legal battles elsewhere.

Brock is currently benched and all creative plans were dropped in the aftermath of former WWE employee Janel Grant's allegations of sexual abuse by Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis. The lawsuit referenced an ex-WWE Champion and former UFC fighter; The Wall Street Journal identified that person as Brock Lesnar.

There's currently no word on exactly when (or even if) Lesnar will make a return to screens in 2024.

Speaking on the legal situation, GUNTHER said he's "really not that informed about it, to be honest". He is, however, keen to pursue a match vs. Brock if things change and WWE can get it in the ring.
