Hall Of Famer Returning To WWE In New Role?

Here's why a certain WWE Hall of Famer was backstage at Raw last night.

Molly Holly was backstage at WWE Raw last night, conducting a tryout to potentially become a producer for the company, reports PWInsider's Mike Johnson.

There's currently no word on how the tryout went. If Holly is brought back, it'll be the first time she has been under WWE contract since 2005, when she decided to step away from the ring in order to focus on family life.

Molly has made several guest appearance for WWE since then. Appearing in a backstage segment on Raw's 15th-anniversary show in December 2007, she returned to the ring in the Miss WrestleMania battle royal at WrestleMania XXV in 2009, then wrestled in the 2018 women's Royal Rumble and at that year's Evolution pay-per-view.

The former WWE Women's Champion last competed at Royal Rumble 2020, when she entered the titular bout as Mighty Molly. This April saw her inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2021.

A popular and respected figure behind the scenes and a versatile onscreen performer throughout her WWE run, Holly would likely have plenty to offer as a WWE producer.
