All Elite Wrestling will officially launch with their blockbuster Double Or Nothing pay-per-view in Las Vegas this Saturday night (25 May), and there's a chance they'll be doing so without the services of Adam 'Hangman' Page.

The latest episode of Being The Elite features a skit in which the 27-year-old isn't allowed to wrestle owing to a knee problem suffered after wrestling PAC in England last week:-

Hangman was originally set to face the former Neville at Double Or Nothing, but the match was pulled. Depending on who you believe, this was either down to "creative differences" between PAC and AEW or the visa problems that forced him to pull out of WrestleMania 35 weekend.

The bout ended up going down in England's Wrestle Gate Pro on 18 May, and ended in a disqualification when PAC low-blowed the referee, keeping him protected. An injury angle followed, with PAC viciously assaulting Page's knee before confirming he wasn't going to AEW.

Page's non-appearance is almost certainly a work. Given how highly All Elite value him, it'd be a huge surprise if he wasn't in the house on Saturday, but credit to the company for building another level of intrigue around the situation.
