Hangman Page To Miss Tonight's AEW Dynamite Due To COVID

A face "full of COVID snot" will keep the AEW World Champion off tonight's broadcast.

For those looking forward to seeing 'Hangman' Adam Page on tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite, the company's current World Champion will be absent from this week's edition of AEW's flagship show.

Taking to Twitter, Page explained he won't be appearing on Dynamite tonight due to COVID-19 - or, as Hangman put it, due to his face being "full of COVID snot".

Whether or not Tony Khan had plans for Hangman Page on tonight's show isn't known, but it's worth pointing out that nothing had been advertised for Page on this week's Dynamite. Still, one has to imagine that there would've been a spot on this episode for the person who holds AEW's top prize - particularly following his stare down with CM Punk on last Wednesday's broadcast.

In terms of who and what will be on Dynamite later today, Wardlow will face Lance Archer, The Undisputed Elite are due to tangle with Brock Anderson, Lee Johnson, Dante Martin and The Varsity Blondes, Hikaru Shida and Serene Deeb do battle in a Philly Street Fight, and the aforementioned Punk will be on commentary for the hotly-anticipated Owen Hart Foundation Tournament qualifying match between Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler.
