Page's match with Powerhouse Hobbs took a bloody toll last week.

It looks like Hangman Page had to have his head stapled shut after wrestling Powerhouse Hobbs on last week's episode of AEW Dynamite.

Page won the bout, pinning Hobbs with his signature Dead Eye, but was bleeding heavily from a headwound, leaving his signature blonde locks coated in claret. Suffering the injury during a ring post spot gone wrong, Page continued unhindered nonetheless.

The former AEW World Title challenger has since used his Instagram story to upload an image of his wound (and its new set of staples):-

There's currently no word on how much ring time Page will be forced to miss as a result of his injury, if any.

Page was ranked number two in AEW's men's division last week, but will likely move into the top spot after the win over Hobbs and Jungle Boy's World Title loss to Kenny Omega on the same show. Those new rankings should appear before tomorrow's episode of Dynamite, for which Page isn't currently billed, with Hangman still hotly-tipped to be the one who finally dethrones Omega.

All the best to Page in his recovery from last week's head knock.
