Following his highly successful role in Guardians Of The Galaxy, former WWE Champion Batista (Dave Bautista) has been expanding his reach in Hollywood. His next role features the former professional wrestler starring alongside one of the film industry's most legendary actors, Robert De Niro. In the upcoming film Heist, Batista plays a character named Cox, a burglar who attempts a big-time robbery against Pope (De Niro's character). Pope is a mob boss who a group of burglars are attempting to take down. The robbery goes sour, forcing Cox and his partner Vaughn (Jeffrey Dean Morgan of Supernatural) to go on the run, hijacking a city bus in the process. Shoot-outs and action galore are the result. Batista isn't the only famous face from the wrestling and MMA world in the film, as Gina Carano also has a role in the film. UFC President Dana White had been talking with Carano last year about making a return to UFC and fighting Ronda Rousey, but Carano decided to take the role in Heist instead. Heist also stars Morris Chestnut (The Best Man Holiday), Kate Bosworth, Mark-Paul Gosselaar (of Saved By The Bell fame), D.B. Sweeney, Lydia Hull, and Tyler J. Olson.
