Here's Who Was Backstage At WWE Raw Last Night

Last night's eventful WWE Raw had a notable locker-room visitor.

Austin Theory was backstage at last night's episode of WWE Raw, reports PWInsider's Mike Johnson.

This isn't the first time Theory has been behind the scenes at a main roster taping over the past few months. Part of a group of NXT wrestlers earmarked for a main roster call-up in July, the 24-year-old worked seven SmackDown dark matches throughout that month and August, as well as facing Odyssey Jones on the 12 August episode of Main Event.

The situation has raised questions over Theory's NXT status, as he hasn't wrestled on Tuesday nights since facing Kyle O'Reilly on 20 July. He has largely been written out of the ongoing storyline surrounding his stable, The Way, with Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae left alone in voicing their displeasure for Indi Hartwell's upcoming wedding to Dexter Lumis.

Said wedding goes down tonight. Whether or not Theory will re-emerge for it remains to be seen.

Theory has been with WWE since August 2019, having broken out primarily for his work in EVOLVE over the prior couple of years. 2020 saw him briefly positioned on the main roster as part of an alliance with Zelina Vega, Angel Garza, and Andrade.
