HILARIOUS Backstage Wrestling Stories You Probably Didn't Know

Comical backstage shenanigans and stories are as much a part of the wrestling business as silly, extravagant entrances and the thrilling or painful action often seen going down in-between the ropes.

And while some of the more well-known childish and sometimes quite problematic tricks, pranks, and ribs have ultimately aged like a pint of milk, there are actually a number of other, less famous (or infamous) behind-the-scenes events that will never not be utterly riotous. 

You probably weren't aware that two of the biggest stars of Attitude Era once amusingly terrorised a fellow legend with something as simple as a few sweet treats, for example. Or that a 'Showstopper' once hilariously had his own show stopped by his mother in front of his students.

And you also likely never knew about one particularly awkward, but admittedly side-splitting, incident involving a WWE star and a dressing room bathroom.

But not for much longer, folks. Because it is time to take a funny ol' walk down memory lane and dive into some of the strangest, funniest, and most embarrassing backstage stories that have likely never made it onto your innocent wrasslin' radar... until now!

Along with being one of the greatest in-ring performers of all time, you may not have realised that Kazuchika Okada is actually a bit of a loveable goofball, too.

For an example of just how much of a silly legend the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion is, look no further than his insistence on robbing The Young Bucks' gear every time he finds himself sharing a backstage area with the Jackson boys.

Just last year the iconic scamp was at it again, nicking Nick's black-and-white get-up in June and doing something similar in October before teaming with Orange Cassidy against Claudio Castagnoli and Jon Moxley.

OKADA TOOK THEIR GEAR AND BECAME THE THIRD YOUNG BUCK AGAIN.

This fun little joke actually has some rather sweet origins, too. When the Bucks and Okada were working together in TNA, Matt & Nick bonded with the eventual Japanese legend backstage after going to bat for him when that company were trying to get him to bleed in a match. 

From there, the eventual AEW EVPs became best buds with Okada, with 'The Rainmaker' then eventually deciding to don their gear during every show they ended up working together and just surprising them as a third Buck for the fun of it.
