Hookhausen Has Arrived In AEW!
SEND HOOKHAUSEN! Danhausen and Hook joined forces following a turbulent in-ring debut on Dynamite.
Though Danhausen’s debut against Tony Nese on the 11 May 2022 episode AEW Dynamite was a one-sided affair, the aftermath of the match nearly blew the roof off Long Island’s UBS Arena.
‘The Premier Athlete’ made quick work out of Danhausen, smashing him with a single brutal running knee in the corner before scoring the pin.
However, as ‘Smart’ Mark Sterling propped very nice, very evil star up to continue the beating, a certain ‘Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil’ would come out to interrupt the assault and save the delightfully demented Danhausen from further abuse.
Danhausen and Hook have been crossing paths since the 25 March edition of Rampage.
After several failed attempts to curse the Team Taz member, the two appeared set on a collision course on the 6 May 2022 episode of Rampage, until Danhausen revealed he sought to join forces instead of trading blows.
Though Hook quickly rejected the proposition by shoving Danhausen down to the mat, the peace offering left behind following the encounter apparently swayed the chip-loving prodigy to his side, much to the delight of the audience.
Hookhausen is set to take on Tony Nese and ‘Smart’ Mark Sterling in tag-team action at AEW’s Double or Nothing Buy-In on 29 May 2022.
