LA Knight has claimed that WWE currently tests its wrestlers for drugs every month.

Knight was appearing alongside fellow SmackDown star Grayson Waller on Australia's The Kyle & Jackie O Show. When Waller and Knight were asked about "roiding it up" as a "cheap way" to bulk up and get in shape, Knight confirmed, explicitly, that WWE stars are forbidden from using steroids. This isn't new information, but Waller joked that being able to would make his life "so much easier."

To this, LA commented (h/t POST Wrestling's Andrew Thompson):

"Yeah, because that would actually make recovery easy but, no, every month we get tested. Every single month."

Knight and Waller's appearance on The Kyle & Jackie O Show was part of WWE's promotional rounds ahead of Elimination Chamber 2024, which is due to take place in Perth, Australia on 24 February. WWE's first Australian premium live event since Super ShowDown 2018 is being held in the 70,000-capacity Optus Stadium, with the promotion reportedly distributing 44,641 of the 49,414 tickets made available by WrestleTix's last count.

Before Elimination Chamber, WWE and Knight have the matter of Royal Rumble 2024 to deal with on 27 January. There, Knight challenges for Roman Reigns' Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a four-way match also featuring Randy Orton and AJ Styles.
