With last week's special Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite being headlined by a major match in the form of 'Hangman' Adam Page challenging for Jon Moxley's AEW World Championship, this coming week's Dynamite offering will likewise feature Mox defending his gold in a huge match-up.

As announced by AEW and Tony Khan on Twitter, this Wednesday will see Moxley defending the AEW World Title against Penta El Zero Miedo at Norfolk, Virginia's Chartway Arena.

Moxley and Penta have only ever locked horns once before, with the pair competing in a singles match at the NEW Prison Break PPV back in August 2019. There, the Death Rider emerged victorious in a bout that went 23 minutes.

As such, this upcoming content will mark the first time ever that Mox and the Death Triangle man will do battle in an All Elite ring. This will also be Moxley's second defense of AEW's top prize - at least, the second defense during his ongoing third reign as the promotion's World Champion - with the Blackpool Combat Club favourite last week picking up a win over 'Hangman' Page in a match that was unfortunately stopped due to Page suffering a very real concussion.
