A major name is confirmed to be backstage ahead of tonight's episode of WWE Raw.

Charlotte Flair

As reported by PWInsider, Charlotte Flair is currently backstage at WWE Raw.

Flair has been absent from WWE television for several weeks now, with those weeks throwing up plentiful speculation on what the Queen’s current status is with the promotion. Of course, last week’s Raw saw Rhea Ripley reveal that Charlotte had been absent from WWE programming due to a battle with COVID-19.

Before that announcement, some had suggested that the recent WWE release of Flair’s real-life fiancé Andrade was the reason for her being out of the spotlight, while others questioned whether her headlining role in the new Walking Tall remake was behind her absence.

In addition to Ripley revealing Charlotte’s COVID diagnosis, last week’s red brand offering also saw the Nightmare challenge Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 37 – a challenge that the Empress of Tomorrow was quick to accept.

Some had suggested that Asuka vs. Ripley could end up having Charlotte Flair added to it by the time that match takes place on Night 2 (11 April) of ‘Mania 37, and we’ll have to wait and see what the returning Queen has to say on this matter when tonight’s Raw takes place in just a matter of hours.
