WWE may have plans to pull its big White Rabbit reveal at its next premium live event, Extreme Rules 2022 (8 October).
This is according to Fightful Select. The outlet reports that people in the know have stated that Extreme Rules was supposed to host the reveal, though there is currently no word on whether or not the actual subject will be in the building or not.
WWE's White Rabbit teases have been playing out for a couple of weeks now, with the promotion employing unorthodox tactics like playing the Jefferson Airplane song of the same name during commercials and placing QR codes for fans to scan throughout. Fightful note that although not everybody was sold on the QR code idea specifically, it is now considered a big success, creating even more buzz than originally planned.
The outlet reiterates that WWE's creative team hasn't been all that involved in the story, with many in the dark on the finer details. Higher-ups, however, know what is going on and what is planned.
Not for the first time, Fightful not that Bray Wyatt is believed to be the wrestler behind the White Rabbit. The former 'Fiend' has been out of wrestling since his shocking WWE release in July 2021.
