Huge Stipulation Added To WWE Raw Women's Title Match At Extreme Rules 2022

In what kind of match will Bianca Belair defend her title against Bayley?

Last week's WWE Raw ended with Bayley challenging Bianca Belair to a match at the Extreme Rules PLE next month for the EST's Raw Women's Championship.

Monday night, Raw opened with Bayley adding a stipulation to that title bout, demanding it now be a ladder match. Belair agreed, so we now know just how "extreme" the women's title match will be.

Bayley has targeted Belair since returning at SummerSlam, as her Damage CTRL faction has locked horns with Bianca, Asuka and Alexa Bliss several times in various combinations. During their six-woman tag match at Clash at the Castle, Bayley became the first woman in more than 300 days to pin Belair, a feat she's repeated constantly, pointing out that no one could beat her while the Role Model was on the shelf with an injury.

The question is whether Bianca's title reign will end at six months at Extreme Rules, or if she'll manage to turn back Bayley and continue on. A ladder match opens the door to some chicanery on both sides, allowing someone to win (or retain) the title without necessarily "beating" their opponent, or having outside help.

Extreme Rules will take place on Saturday, October 8.
