WWE are finally putting the card together for NXT's debut on USA Network, which is now less than two weeks away, having confirmed the 18 September episode's first match on WWE.com last night.

NXT North American Champion Velveteen Dream defends his strap against rival Roderick Strong in a heated, story-rich affair.

TakeOver: Toronto saw them collide as part of a North American Title Triple Threat also including Pete Dunne. Dream won that bout by pinning 'The Bruiserweight,' thus preventing his and Roddy's issues from coming to an end.

Then, on last night's episode of NXT, Strong set fire to the lux couch that Dream often rides to the stage. This was done to convince the charismatic star to give him a one-on-one shot at the belt. Now, he gets that chance on 18 September.

A Strong victory would mean his Undisputed Era stable holding every single championship available to them, with Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish regaining the NXT Tag Team Champions on last week's episode and Adam Cole still the reigning NXT Champion.
