Charlotte Flair became SmackDown Women's Championship in a shocking turn of events earlier this week, ending Asuka's stop-start reign at 100 days in an impromptu title fight.

Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Carmella, and Naomi were originally set to compete in a contender's bout to determine Asuka's WrestleMania 35 opponent. This was scrapped at the last minute, however, and Flair will now carry the strap into her 'Mania main event versus Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch.

The move has led to all kinds of speculation as to what will happen with the title at 'The Show Of Shows.' WWE are expected to make an announcement regarding this on Monday Night Raw, but Dave Meltzer has a potential scoop in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, noting that WWE do NOT plan on merging the Raw and SmackDown Women's Titles.

Instead, he believes that WWE will stipulate that whoever gets pinned in the Triple Threat will lose their title. Both belts will be on the line, but it'll only become winner-takes-all situation if one of Flair or Rousey pin each other.

An odd move, as it means pinning or submitting Lynch has no stakes, though it shouldn't be taken as gospel yet.
