John Cena isn't sure if he'll be able to work WrestleMania this year.

Speaking on the Ellen Degeneres Show, the WWE legend said that given his current schedule, he doesn't know if he's going to be able to make WrestleMania 38, which takes place in Arlington, Texas across 2 and 3 April.

"WrestleMania is usually in the cusp of late March, early April. I don't know if I'm going to make it this year. That's a good conundrum to have because there are a lot of good opportunities coming up, which I would love to take. If all those things line up, I don't know if I'll be able to make WrestleMania. I will tell everybody watching, I'm not done with WWE by a long shot. That's my home, I love it. I was able to go back during the summer for a few months and entertain audiences when they welcomed audiences back to arenas and I've far from had my last performance."

Cena's last 'Mania match went down at WrestleMania 36 in 2020, when he lost to Bray Wyatt in a cinematic Firefly Fun House bout. He was not present at last year's event.

The WWE legend returned for a successful run last year, sparking notable increases in ticket sales and viewership numbers with his heavily-promoted 'Summer of Cena', culminating in his well-received SummerSlam 2021 defeat to Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
