Hulk Hogan Held Talks To Join Bullet Club?
What next for the Hulkster?
Hulk Hogan's wrestling future remains in limbo. Blacklisted from WWE following his 2015 sex tape scandal, he wasn't given the call to appear at Raw 25 last week, and recently revealed that while he enjoys a good relationship with Triple H, Vince McMahon remains committed to his decision not to use him.
With a WWE return seemingly not on the horizon, Hogan has spent his time exploring other options. As per this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, he was recently in negotiations to become part of Bullet Club, who had previously claimed that Hogan and CM Punk were the only outsiders they'd want to join their group. Predictably, the talks fell through.
As per the write-up, there was a feeling that Hogan wanted too much money, and that he'd flake on Bullet Club the moment Vince reached out, as is Hulk's modus operandi. He once pulled out of a TNA return when WWE came calling, and did the same to a Jimmy Hart-related group at a similar time.
Meltzer adds that WWE will likely bring Hogan back as soon as there's no fear of sponsor backlash. Still, seeing him in Bullet Club would be interesting, given the group's strong nWo influence.
