ICW's Fear & Loathing: 10 Reasons To Be Excited
7. The Hydro
Last year ICW sold out the SECC for Fear & Loathing VIII. This made it the biggest British wrestling show since Big Daddy wrestled Giant Haystacks at Wembley Arena in 1981.
And while The Hydro may only be next door to the SECC, it’s a bit bigger, and Fear & Loathing IX promises to one-up what was already pretty spectacular.
Which is all very impressive, but a venue doesn’t necessarily make a show. However, this is more about what the location means than anything else. Only ten years ago ICW were wrestling in the Maryhill Community Centre (don't worry if you haven't heard of it) and now they are going to the same venue that Raw and SmackDown are being taped in.
It’s one hell of an achievement and is the kind of history making that you won’t want to miss.
