"I'll Throw Hulk Hogan's Dusty *** Over The Top Rope & I'll KILL Hulkamania" - CM Punk (WWE News)

CM Punks goes scorched earth on Hulk Hogan and his Royal Rumble opponents in powerful Raw promo

CM Punk threatened to "kill Hulkamania once and for all" in a hilarious and impassioned speech on last night's Raw.

'The Second City Saint' dropped bombs on several of his Royal Rumble opponents in a blistering speech that may well have been his personal go-home promo for the 2025 edition of the show. However, it was after remarks about John Cena, Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn that Punk saved the loudest line (and, in the building, the loudest pop) for a shot at Hulk Hogan. Roaring, into the microphone during an interview with Jackie Redmond, he said "You put Hulk Hogan in the Royal Rumble, I'll throw his dusty ass over the top rope and I'll kill Hulkamania once and for all".

Presumably, this wasn't to reveal that 'The Hulkster' will be the latest big name to enter a star-studded titular match on February, but to pile on Hogan following the boos that rained down on the Hall-Of-Famer during his promotional appearance on the Netflix Raw debut. Conspiratorially, this may have been a litmus test from within WWE regarding Hogan's standing ahead of a planned appearance on Saturday Night's Main Event, or just Punk being Punk and lobbing bombs for the sake of it.

It was at very least the best promo on the show and another great segment from the former WWE Champion as he marches forward in pursuit of his elusive first WrestleMania main event. Punk joins the aforementioned list of stars as well as Rey Mysterio and Jey Uso in the Rumble match. Nia Jax and Bayley are the only two to announce for the Women's match thus far.
