IMPACT Hard To Kill 2022: Updated Card After Last Night’s IMPACT Wrestling
Changes to the Ultimate X match, added stipulations, and more added to Hard To Kill 2022 card.
IMPACT Wrestling’s first pay-per-view of 2022 takes place in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, 8 January, with the go-home IMPACT on AXS TV seeing a handful of updates made to the card.
Most notable is Alisha Edwards replacing Rachael Ellering in the inaugural knockouts Ultimate X match. This comes after Ellering, Jordynne Grace, and Rosemary lost to Chelsea Green, Tasha Steelz, and Lady Frost, though no official explanation was given to explain Alisha’s addition and Rachael’s removal.
Additionally, Trey Miguel and Steve Maclin’s X Division Championship bout will be contested as a Last Chance match, meaning the former Steve Cutler can never challenge for the title again, so long as Trey is the champion. Maclin has thus far been involved in two title matches with Miguel; the first at Bound For Glory, where Miguel lifted the vacant title, and the second at Turning Point. Both were three-way matches.
Finally, in the ten-man Hardcore War, the man advantage will see the Good Brothers and Violent By Design go one-up over Heath, Rhino, Rich Swann, Willie Mack, and Eddie Edwards, following Karl Anderson’s victory over Heath.
