Taya Valkyrie's time with IMPACT Wrestling is now done, and the star is expected to sign with either WWE or AEW in the near future.

As per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Taya is said to have finished up with IMPACT and will sign with WWE or AEW "within a short period of time".

In terms of her TV presence, Valkyrie and Jessicka will be defending the Knockouts Tag Team Titles against the Coven's Taylor Wilde and KiLynn King on next week's edition of IMPACT TV. Of course, that match has already been taped.

Elsewhere, Taya is also the MLW Women's Featherweight Champion and the AAA Reina de Reinas Champion. Where MLW is concerned, the Observer notes that La Wera Loca does not have any long-term commitments with the promotion.

Previously, Valkyrie competed under the WWE banner as Franky Monet. There, the powerhouse arrived in February 2021 but would be released that November as part of the company's many rounds of pandemic-driven "budget cuts". Given how Triple H has looked to rehire many of those released during those cuts, some have long speculated that Valkyrie/Monet could be another name who'll at some point be returning to WWE under the Game's stewardship.

Where AEW is concerned, this coming Wednesday's edition of AEW Dynamite takes place from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Interestingly, Jade Cargill has put out an open challenge for any Canadian to face her for the TBS Title... and wouldn't you know it, but Taya Valkyrie is indeed Canadian, hailing from Victoria, British Columbia.
