IMPACT Wrestling Announces UK Invasion Tour
IMPACT is returning to the UK for three nights this October.
For the first time since 2018, IMPACT Wrestling is heading back to the United Kingdom.
Today saw IMPACT announce their UK Invasion tour for this October. This three-night tour will see the promotion head to Glasgow's O2 Academy on 26 October, Newcastle's Walker Dome on 27 October, and Coventry's HMV Empire on 28 October.
This will be IMPACT's first venture to the UK since the IMPACT vs. The UK event in September 2018. That special was headlined by Sami Callihan defeating Jimmy Havoc in a Barbed Wire Baseball Bat Death Match.
Prior to IMPACT vs. The UK, the company had regularly toured the UK from 2008 to 2016. And now, the Anthem promotion will be returning to British shores for three shows which will be accompanied by meet and greats for those who purchase the Titanium Ticket Package.
In terms of which talent will be a part of this tour, IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley, Moose, Eddie Edwards, Deonna Purrazzo, Frankie Kazarian, Brian Myers, Ace Austin, Chris Bey, and Joe Hendry have been announced. In addition to those names, Gail Kim and Tommy Dreamer will be making appearances, as will Grado.
As part of the press release for UK Invasion, IMPACT Wrestling President Scott D’Amore enthused:
"We are all so excited to come back to the UK with these action-packed shows. The British fans have always been among our most loyal and passionate supporters and have been yearning for IMPACT’s return for many years now. What makes this tour even more special is that there are many stars on the IMPACT roster who these wonderful fans will now have the chance to see live and in-person for the first time ever."
Tickets for the UK Invasion tour go on sale on Friday 4 August at www.impactwrestling.com, with prices starting at £35.
