Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell set the date for their televised WWE wedding on last night's NXT.

Hartwell proposed to Lumis on last week's episode, with Dexter accepting in his own unique way after an intergender tag team victory over Robert Stone and Jessi Kamea. They aren't waiting around to tie the knot, either.

As confirmed in a backstage interview with McKenzie Mitchell (who looks like the third wheel to end all third wheels in the picture above), Lumis and Hartwell's wedding will go down on NXT's 14 September episode. This was revealed when Dexter pulled out a black and white wedding invitation with the date across the bottom.

Hartwell's stablemate in The Way, Johnny Gargano, tried to get NXT General Manager William Regal to call the wedding off later in the show. This led to an interruption from LA Knight - and a squabbling match between the former Million Dollar Champion and Gargano.

Indi's other disapproving "parent," Candice LeRae, is currently off television due to her pregnancy.

14 September will be NXT's first live show after three weeks of pretaped outings. Wrestling weddings tend to pop nice television ratings, with an AEW Dynamite quarter-hour featuring Penelope Ford and Kip Sabian's nuptials greatly outdrawing Edge on NXT earlier this year.
