AEW Collision Action Andretti Eddie Kingston

Having suffered various leg injuries during his match against Gabe Kidd at NJPW Resurgence in May, Eddie Kingston has now undergone knee surgery.

The Mad King took to Instagram to simply state, "Well it's done. So what up!"

That Resurgence match saw Kingston fracture his leg and suffer a torn ACL and torn meniscus after his leg hit the guardrail while he was being suplexed through a table. As previously reported, Eddie had to wait for the leg fracture to heal up before he could then have surgery to repair the ACL and meniscus issues.

In terms of his recovery, the New Yorker is unfortunately set for a prolonged spell on the sidelines, with the former ROH World Champion expected to be out of action for ten months. If that is indeed the case, that would have May 2025 as an estimated return date for the hugely popular Kingston.

Best wishes on a full and healthy recovery to Eddie Kingston from all of us here at WhatCulture Wrestling.
