Having recently undergone neck fusion surgery, WWE's Braun Strowman has provided his fans with a positive update on his current status.

Taking to Twitter, Strowman noted how he's now been given the green light to commence weight training once more. As the one-time Universal Champion put it, it's "time to rebuild the Monster".

Braun went under the knife at the famed Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama at the start of the month. Given the nature of the surgery, it's expected the Monster Among Men will be out of action for at least the rest of the year.

Strowman's most recent match was on the 1 May edition of WWE Raw, where he and Ricochet defeated the Alpha Academy pairing of Chad Gable and Otis. That in itself was hot on the heels of Braun returning to action after suffering a concussion the prior month in a bout against the Viking Raiders.

It's a long road to recovery for Braun Strowman, but it's hugely encouraging to see the powerhouse is already able to start lifting weights just a couple of weeks after having his C4 and C5 vertebrae fused.
