Is Christian Teasing One More WWE Match?
Cryptic Tweet sends fans into a frenzy.
Ex-WWE star Christian sent the rumour-mill spinning this week after he hinted at a possible return to the ring with a cryptic Twitter post.
The 43-year-old - whose real name is Jason Reso - uploaded a picture of a pair of wrestling boots, alongside the caption: "Hmmm wonder if these still fit?"
Fans have been clamouring to see Christian back in WWE over recent months amid the nostalgia of E&C's Pod of Awesomeness (of which he is the co-host).
And current WWE star Randy Orton - with whom Christian shared some of his most memorable matches - even welcomed the idea of a return in a reply to the original Tweet.
It was previously feared that he may have hung up his tights for good amid concussion-related health concerns.
The former World Heavyweight Champion last competed in WWE three years ago, his final match a fatal four-way to determine the number one contender to Big E's Intercontinental title.
In addition to two world titles, Reso has also worn the ECW, IC, European, Hardcore, Light Heavyweight and tag team belts in WWE, along with the NWA World Hevyweight Championship during a stint with TNA.
