Is Sasha Banks Injured?
This rap album seems to be taking quite some time...
Sasha Banks' scheduled match with Lacey Evans was bumped from SmackDown for the second week in a row and now fans have been left wondering whether she is in fact unable to compete due to an undisclosed injury.
After promoting the bout for two straight weeks, we are still yet to see Banks and Evans throw down inside of the squared circle. Last week, Banks was said to be too busy to perform as she was in L.A. recording her new album. Whereas this week we saw Evans jump 'The Boss' and SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley backstage, with this then leading to an injury angle which left Banks with her ankle heavily iced.
Medically unable to compete, Bayley was forced to step in and take on Evans in her place. Evans won the match and the pair are now set to go one-on-one for the belt at the Royal Rumble.
Banks has not wrestled since the January 3 episode of the blue branded show, so fans are right to think that a behind the scenes injury could very much be the reason behind her inactivity.
If 'The Boss' is in fact injured, she'll be hoping it's nothing to serious as with the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania right around the corner, an extended absence could see her miss two of the biggest events on the WWE calendar.
