Jade Cargill made her first WWE PLE appearance on Saturday at Fastlane.

The former AEW TBS Champion and much-hyped free agent signing was shown during the Fastlane kick-off show in a brief backstage segment, arriving via SUV and meeting with Triple H before the two walked off. The segment was re-aired during the PLE proper, with Michael Cole and Corey Graves appropriately gushing about Jade.

WWE certainly is taking a different tact with how they're hyping Cargill, keeping her name in the public conversation regularly, displaying article clips announcing the signing one week, and then showing footage of her at the Performance Center another week. And now they've put her physical presence on full display during a PLE, making sure she's thought of as a future force in the women's division.

One thing WWE has not done yet is give any clear indication of their path for Jade. The vast majority of new signings report to NXT first for seasoning, and considering that Cargill's Cagematch page consists of just 64 matches, one might think she would report to developmental.

However, just look at her. WWE clearly believes she is a head-turner and a game-changer for them. It's very likely the company will train her behind the scenes at the PC while keeping her name out there, and then bring Jade to the main roster to make an impact.

For now though, another box was checked on Cargill's journey with WWE.
