Speaking during an appearance on the Wrestling Inside the Ropes podcast, Jeff Hardy has revealed that one particular dream match he has in mind is a cinematic bout against The Usos.

As the Charismatic Enigma put it (as per Wrestling Inc):

"I think, cinematically, one of my biggest dream matches was with The Usos, because they got their penitentiary thing. Like, to go to an old, rundown prison that you can go your for paranormal activity or whatever, but go and have a match with The Usos in a haunted old prison. I got that match in my hand, and I think I wrote a bunch of ideas down years ago. That's still one of the things I would really love to do. I think that can be extremely cool."

Of course, one sticking point for Jeff if any such match should somehow come together, is just who Hardy would team with to battle Jimmy and Jey Uso.

While The Hardy Boyz are thought of as one of the greatest tag teams of the modern era, Jeff's brother Matt is these days enjoying life in AEW - which means he'd be out of the equation for any trip to the Uso Penitentiary.

Jeff is no stranger to cinematic bouts, with he and his brother having popularised this concept back in 2016 when the two did battle in the Final Deletion for TNA. That would be followed by Delete or Decay, The Great War, and Tag Team Apocalypto for The Hardy Boyz, and Jeff would also more recently battle Sheamus in a bar fight scenario that served as a cinematic match.
