Barely a week has passed since Jeff Hardy was released by WWE, but the 44-year-old has already announced his next set of public appearances.

A 90-day non-compete clause prevents Hardy from signing or appearing for other wrestling promotions until March 2022. To compensate for this, Jeff is heading out on the road for a meet and great tour that will also see him perform acoustic sets.

Hardy tweeted the following on Wednesday:-

The tour kicks off in Milwaukee, Wisconsin tonight, takes a break in mid-December, then resumes on 13 January before concluding in Sioux Falls, South Dakota four days later.

Jeff's WWE release came following a worrying incident on a 4 December house show, where he left ringside after tagging out of a trios match, leaving through the audience - and not returning for a planned post-bout celebration. It was later revealed that Hardy had wrestled while impaired. With the former WWE Champion turning down the company's request that he attend rehab, the market leaders opted to let him go.

This week saw Jeff re-emerge in a video uploaded to brother Matt's Twitch channel, directly referencing his WWE release.
