Jim Ross Gives Details Of Titus O'Neil's WWE Fine And Punishment

Titus burned with fine as well as suspension.

Jim Ross is reporting at jrsbarbq.com that Titus O'Neil was fined in the neighbourhood of $5,000, in addition to being suspended for sixty days. "One has to wonder if this punishment was also utilized to get the attention of the entire roster especially if some talents were thought to be becoming to lax in their approach to their job," Ross says. He also added that in his experience of Titus, he has never been a problem. The suspension for "grabbing" Vince McMahon was harsh, so to hear that Titus also landed a 5K hit is surprising. He'll already be losing money by missing out on WrestleMania. All the wrestler apparently did is playfully grab McMahon to say "ladies first" and allow Stephanie McMahon to exit the Raw ramp. You do have to wonder if things did then kick off backstage, perhaps with Vince and Titus getting into a shouting match. It just doesn't add up that a fine and suspension would be justifiable for what fans saw in the Raw footage. Surely something else must have happened? Nothing has came out so far, but this story could be one to watch for future developments. Nobody backstage has talked about it yet, but surely something will be leaked at some point.
