While discussing some of AEW's hottest rising stars on his Grilling JR podcast (as per WrestlingNews), Jim Ross talked up Darby Allin and Jungle Boy before giving some special praise to Ethan Page.

As JR put it:

"Darby is one of my favourites. He's one of my favourites to talk to. Darby is very creature. He comes up with a lot of his own material, shall we say. He's one of our homegrown guys that we take pride in; him and Jungle Boy Jack Perry, for example. Nobody should sleep on Ethan Page. He's going to be a big time player. He's doing really well. I'm glad we have him. He looks great, he has a good attitude and is a smart kid. I believe if he stays away from injuries, he's going to contribute in a big way for a long time to come."

Ethan Page has certainly impressed since debuting for AEW at March's Revolution PPV, with him aligning himself with Scorpio Sky and butting heads with Darby Allin and Sting.

Prior to landing in AEW, Page was a standout in IMPACT Wrestling as one half of the North with Josh Alexander. While many were sad to see that brilliant tandem break up, there's no arguing that All Ego hasn't taken the ball and ran with it since becoming #AllElite.

Tonight's AEW Dynamite: Fyter Fest Night 1 sees Page square off with Darby Allin in AEW's first ever Coffin Match.
