John Cena vs Bray Wyatt Advertised For 'Extreme Rules Match' At Next WWE PPV
John Cena will face Bray Wyatt in an 'Extreme Rules Stipulation Match' at the May 4th Extreme Rules pay-per-view, according to the IZOD centre where the event will be filmed at. It isn't official in WWE storylines yet, but it wouldn't be the first time a WWE venue has leaked away planned matches ahead of time. They do after all have to promote something in order to sell tickets in the local East Rutherford, New Jersey area. Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Big Show and Batista are also listed to appear. The booking of Cena vs Wyatt was expected. It will be the follow up to Cena's win over Bray at WrestleMania 30, and the added incentive of the Extreme Rules stipulation will help give the match new interest to fans. The stipulation will also give WWE a way of having John Cena lose without him losing any status, a loss in a no-dq environment (where Harper and Rowan could potentially get involved) helps to explain Cena's loss away. He might even end up overcoming Bray once again, but the smart money will be on WWE doing the opposite of the outcome at WrestleMania 30. It should be a really good match, both superstars will be able to get creative in the hardcore environment, Wyatt in particular could so some epic variations of the 'Sister Abigail' finisher with steel chairs involved. Rumoured for the card is Daniel Bryan vs Triple H in the main event, though last Monday's Raw also hinted at Evolution vs The Shield. If WWE do decide to go with Triple H vs Daniel Bryan, it would be expected that Kane took HHH's place in the six-man tag match.
