John Cena Vs. The Undertaker Still On For WrestleMania 34?

Sorry, Rey Mysterio...

Though John Cena insisted that his long-rumoured WrestleMania 34 match with The Undertaker wouldn't be happening during this week's Monday Night Raw, today's Wrestler Observer Newsletter suggests that it is still very much in WWE's plans.

Dave Meltzer writes that Cena's promo was intended to throw fans off the scent for a few weeks. As things stand, the 16-time World Champion will compete in a six-man WWE Title match at Fastlane on March 11th, with the company pushing the idea that he needs to win to get on the 'Mania card.

This is a ruse, and the write-up states that the only way Cena vs. 'Taker won't happen is if 'The Deadman' hurts himself in training.

The report contradicts yesterday's story that Cena would face Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 34. Meltzer states that while Rey does have a meeting scheduled to discuss a WWE contract, nothing has been set in stone yet, though he did attend a SmackDown house show in San Diego earlier in the week.

We'll likely learn more after Fastlane, but given that Mysterio's future is still up in the air, 'Taker vs. Cena looks a safer bet for New Orleans.
