Johnny Gargano’s future remains one of the biggest questions in WWE at the moment, though it appears we are edging closer to a resolution.

The NXT stalwart has promised that he will tell the audience everything on Tuesday’s NXT 2.0 episode, having made this pledge to the live crowd following last night’s WarGames event. Speaking to the audience, the Triple Crown champion referred to the fans as his family, saying he’d unpack everything on Tuesday, as he has always been an open book:-

Whether or not Gargano's comments will air as part of this week's broadcast or take place off-air is currently unclear.

This came following a high-profile defeat at WarGames, with Gargano, Pete Dunne, LA Knight, and Tommaso Ciampa losing to Carmelo Hayes, Bron Breakker, Tony D’Angelo, and Grayson Waller inside the titular structure. Ciampa, not Gargano, took the fall.

Gargano tweeted the following after WarGames, prompting further speculation on his future:-

The 34-year-old is currently working on a WWE contract expiring later this week, having signed a one-week extension to enable his WarGames participation.

Per Fightful Select, both Gargano and follow expiring contract-holder Kyle O’Reilly are expected to depart WWE imminently.
