Johnny Gargano Seriously Considering AEW Offer

AEW interest in ex-WWE NXT man Johnny Gargano is there, and it's not one-sided.

Dave Meltzer told listeners on Wrestling Observer Radio that Johnny Gargano is "heavily considering" signing with AEW as soon as he possibly can.

The former NXT star left WWE after his contract expired on 10 December - Gargano chose not to renew with Vince McMahon's operation, and could take his skills to Tony Khan's outfit instead. Meltzer's words suggest that there's been contact between AEW and 'Johnny Wrestling' about a potential deal.

Previously, Gargano himself also said that both Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson sit atop his own personal wishlist for dream matches. Both of those workers currently ply their trade in All Elite, so it makes sense to believe that Johnny is interested in joining the company.

AEW has become a bit of a haven for disgruntled and/or released WWE wrestlers. This past Wednesday, ex-NXT man Kyle O'Reilly became the latest to debut alongside his old Undisputed Era buddies Adam Cole and Bobby Fish on the special 'Holiday Bash' edition of Dynamite.

Could Gargano be next in line for Khan? Meltzer seems to think it's very close to happening. Don't be shocked if "Johnny Gargano Is #AllElite" posts start hitting social media soon then.
