The grand conclusion is just two weeks away...

Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa will finally settle their long-running NXT rivalry on the show's 8 April episode, WWE has confirmed.

This was booked on last night's show. Triple H made the announcement himself, saying that the fight would go down in an empty building housing only a ring, with a referee present only to decree when the match is over.

The announcement came after Gargano and Ciampa destroyed the Performance Center in a building-wide brawl two weeks ago, with WWE announcing that they'd answer for their transgressions last night. Triple H was reasonable, saying he understood where the animosity came from, but added that this thing had gone on for too long and that he couldn't risk Ciampa and Gargano endangering themselves and others any longer.

While Triple H felt the match deserved a bigger stage, the situation is what it is. The fight goes down in a fortnight.

Gargano and Ciampa were originally set to blow their feud off at TakeOver: New York last year. Ciampa's neck injury prevented this, but now, finally, after so long warring and tagging together, the duo are going to get their big moment - after which both will be banished from NXT if they lay hands on each other again.
