Jon Moxley has been on a crusade to rapidly transform himself from a WWE act staler than leftover birthday cake to one of the most popular men in wrestling over the past few weeks.

Not content with dramatically gatecrashing AEW's debut pay-per-view in ultra-cool fashion before laying into WWE in an unbelievable episode of Talk is Jericho and making a wonderful, violent bow in New Japan, Moxley has now put two of the internet's biggest bête noires to the sword on an independent show in New Jersey.

Making a marquee appearance at North East Wrestling's Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ, the former Dean Ambrose dispatched once-over WWE tag team Enzo and Big Cass - now performing under the names Nzo and Caz XL - with a pair of nasty Dirty Deeds, before rolling them up for the victory.

Moxley was competing in his second match for NEW, having defeated Darby Allen on Friday's Brass City Brawl show in Connecticut.

The newly-crowned IWGP United States champion, loving life in wrestling again, is scheduled to meet Joey Janela at AEW's Fyter Fest in two weeks time, before entering into NJPW's G1 Climax tournament.

On 31 August, he'll face Kenny Omega at AEW's huge All Out pay-per-view. Tickets for the show sold out in just 15 minutes on the strength of the match.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
