KENTA didn't have enough to overcome Jon Moxley on NJPW STRONG.

Jon Moxley left the latest NJPW STRONG episode still IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion after besting KENTA on Friday night.

After months of build and anticipation, and KENTA even appearing on recent episodes of Dynamite, the former AEW World Champion finally went head-to-head with the New Japan Cup USA tournament winner on a special edition of NJPW STRONG. You'll be pleased to hear that the violence lived up to the hype.

Yet, once the dust had settled on this savage affair, it was Moxley having his arm raised in victory after nailing KENTA with a Death Rider DDT for the win. This will likely come as a bit of a shock to some as it's unclear what the future holds now for Moxley in NJPW due to the pandemic. Will he continue to appear on NJPW STRONG?

We do now that 'The Purveyor of Violence' will be going to war with AEW World Champion Kenny Omega on March 7's Revolution PPV, with the two bitter rivals taking part in an Exploding Barbed Wire Death match at the event.

Could Mox walk out of Revolution holding two illustrious belts? Or will this no-doubt brutal encounter lead to some time on the sidelines for WON's Wrestler of the Year?
