Jon Moxley Sups A Cold One At NJPW Resurgence

Mox takes in Archer vs. Tanahashi at Resurgence.

Jon Moxley NJPW Resurgence

Having competed earlier in the night, Jon Moxley opted to take in the main event of NJPW Resurgence from ringside and with a cold beer to hand.

With his mystery partner revealed to be Yugi Nagata, Mox and Nagata came up short against the Good Brothers at Resurgence. Then, the former AEW World Champion decided to take up a spot by the timekeeper's area to watch the main event of the show.

That main event saw Hiroshi Tanahashi topple Lance Archer to become the new IWGP United States Champion after hitting several High Fly Flows. Of course, Moxley had a vested interest in this match for a few reasons and angrily stormed off at the result.

Firstly, Mox was the person who Archer beat to become the IWGP US Champ. Secondly, and most intriguing for wrestling fans, is that Moxley has previously called out Tanahashi on AEW programming.

To stir the pot even more, Lance Archer cut a post-match promo detailing his respect for New Japan's Ace... and invited him to AEW to have a rematch.

Tanahashi appearing on AEW television? With a pissed-off Jon Moxley in the vicinity? Lovely stuff.
