Jon Moxley To Cut Live Promo On Next Week's AEW Dynamite

Rejoice!

Jon Moxley, per a report from Wade Keller of the Pro Wrestling Torch, is set to receive a live mic in a promo segment on next week's AEW Dynamite. This report can be taken seriously, too: Keller is reputable in himself, and he originally broke the news of Moxley's departure from WWE.

According to a source in AEW, the company is tired of hearing complaints about Moxley's lack of promo time, and that "they had a reason for waiting".

The Moxley/Omega rivalry has been advanced very well through intra-match physical storytelling - Omega battling Joey Janela unsanctioned was a tremendous response to Moxley's G1 run, which he re-framed in AEW canon as a means of scouting his scalp - but a verbal segment is overdue.

'Moxley with a live mic' is pro wrestling fan heroin. His work in the G1 pressers was phenomenally engaging, and his previous work in this programme, on the Road to All Out, was tremendous. He used Omega's love of video games to inform some deadly-sounding metaphors, and expertly subverted his perception as a punchline in WWE.

"It's not gonna be the least bit funny when I break your f*cking jaw," he said. People are allowed to say "sh*t" on Dynamite. Select people.

Please select Moxley for this purpose because it will be amazing.
