AEW's last episode of Dynamite before the holiday hiatus will see champion Chris Jericho defend his belt against an unlikely challenger in the form of Jungle Boy.

Jericho crowed on last night's episode that he is contractually obliged to defend his belt one last time this year, before unfurling a list of contenders - or the 'Lexicon of Le Champion', in his brilliant parlance.

Though he repeatedly dropped Moxley's name as though he were an armbar, it was Jurassic Express who surprisingly gatecrashed Jericho's promo. The champ told them that dinosaurs and small children are each in the lexicon, before picking on Jungle Boy directly.

The promising rookie, he said, couldn't even last ten minutes in the ring with him. Jungle Boy disagreed, telling Y2J not only could he hang in there, but "beat his ass".

Naturally then, a match was set for two weeks' time at Corpus Christi, TX's American Bank Center - though not before Jurassic Express and Jericho & Jake Hager had a bit of a skirmish.

Elsewhere on the show, two tag matches were set for next week's episode. The Young Bucks will meet Proud and Powerful in a Street Fight in Garland, TX, whilst Cody & QT Marshall face The Butcher & The Blade.
