Kairi Sane has barely been off WWE television for five minutes but new social media activity has led to speculation that she may have already started work as an ambassador for the promotion in her native Japan, a role rumoured for her at the time of departure.

The former NXT Women's Champion posted the following earlier today:-

The hashtag, #wwejapanlive, and logo in the background suggest she's doing something for Vince McMahon's promotion, having returned to her homeland after her release, though the global health crisis means WWE isn't running attended shows anywhere at the moment.

Sane's WWE departure was reported weeks before it went down. Fightful stated that the company was looking to retain her as an ambassador after Kairi had decided to head back to Japan to be with her husband, though there was no word on whether or not she'd accepted that role. It's understandable that the speculation has kicked back in with this post.

Kairi's four-year WWE run ended in July. Her last match was a singles win over SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley, who got her heat back by injuring the former 'Pirate Princess' in a backstage assault the next week, acting as Sane's write-out.
