Kairi Sane has paid tribute to WWE and its fans following last night's RAW, which appeared to be her last show with the promotion.

Here's what the now-former Kabuki Warrior tweeted after the broadcast:-

It was reported last week that the 20 July RAW tapings would be Sane's last. This checks out, as WWE captured footage for the 27 July show that night.

WWE.com has also published an article paying tribute to Kairi as she departs, briefly putting her accomplishments in the company over before pivoting to tributes from wrestlers like Killian Dain, Mia Yim, and Ivar.

Sane's last WWE match was a non-title victory over SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley on 20 July. Last night saw her beaten up by 'The Role Model' backstage, leading to Asuka abandoning her RAW Women's Title match with Sasha Banks, causing a countout and title change - per the stipulation.

It was reported weeks ago that Sane was on the verge of returning to her native Japan to be closer to her husband, with several outlets stating that WWE wanted to return her as an ambassador. Whether or not the two parties struck a deal remains to be seen.
