Having made a surprise appearance at last night’s WWE Royal Rumble PPV, Kane is donating his Rumble payday to a scholarship scheme.

As reported by CBS-WVLT in Knoxville, Tennessee, the real-life Glenn Jacobs – who is, of course, the Mayor of Knox County – is donating his Royal Rumble earnings to the Applied Technology Scholarship Fund for Tennessee College of Applied Technology, Knoxville.

This isn’t the first time that Jacobs has made such a donation, for last month he offered up $5,000 to help start the aforementioned Applied Scholarship Fund. That fund is to benefit a Knox County employee’s child who is a student at TCAT.

It’s also worth noting that the two-time World Champion had a rapid COVID-19 test before departing for Florida’s Tropicana Field, upon arriving at the venue, and also once back in Knoxville.

Kane turned up at #18 in the men’s Royal Rumble match, eliminating Ricochet and Dolph Ziggler before being dumped over the top rope himself by Damian Priest. The last time we'd seen Kane before this year's Royal Rumble PPV, was as part of the Undertaker's farewell at last November's Survivor Series.
