NXT title-holders Karrion Kross and Bronson Reed are both on WWE's list of wrestlers to be called up to the main roster, reports Dave Meltzer in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Per the report, this could happen as soon as the upcoming WWE Draft, which goes down on the 30 August episode of Raw and 3 September SmackDown.

Interestingly, WWE may now be looking at presenting Kross and Scarlett as separate acts, with Meltzer noting talk that could be getting a separate look at tonight's SmackDown tapings. This is despite the duo being tethered together for the duration of Kross' WWE run, with Scarlett integral to his act's all-around presentation.

NXT Champion Kross and North American Champion Reed both wrestled on this week's episode of Main Event. The former worked Shelton Benjamin, scoring the victory in around 10 minutes after having most of the bells and whistles stripped away from his signature ring entrance, while the latter beat Drew Gulak.

Kross and Reed were also backstage with Scarlett at last week's SmackDown tapings. Members of the writing staff watched the Main Event matches, with the company keen to see what the NXT wrestlers offer live, and to start coming up with ideas for their debuts.
