Kassius Ohno Moved To WWE.com Alumni Section

Is 'The Wrestling Genius' on his way out of WWE?

Kassius Ohno's profile was moved to WWE.com's Alumni section sometime in the past 24 hours (h/t Wrestling Headlines).

This is interesting, as the promotion were quick to move wrestlers into this section as news of Wednesday night's releases tickled through. Ohno wasn't amongst the names confirmed to have left WWE, though.

Ohno has mostly been working for NXT UK lately, though that arm of WWE's operations is currently on pause with the United Kingdom locked down. The brand has run out of taped content and is now filling its television slots with clip shows. Like the rest of the promotion, there's no word on when, exactly, the show will go back to normal, though producing live weekly events a la NXT, Raw, and SmackDown isn't an option.

It must be stressed that Ohno's name drifting into the Alumni section could be a mistake, though it has sparked speculation that he may be among WWE's next round of releases. Kassius, 40, is currently in his second spell with WWE, having returned in 2016.

Today's Wrestling Observer Radio saw Dave Meltzer report that further NXT cuts were likely made last night, though the names haven't hit the internet yet.
