Keith Lee To Miss WWE Elimination Chamber 2021?
Is Keith Lee's United States Title match with Riddle and Bobby Lashley in jeopardy?
Keith Lee's status for this weekend's WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 pay-per-view is "up in the air right now."
This is the word of Dave Meltzer, who made the comment during today's episode of Wrestling Observer Radio. Noting that "there's something going on with Keith Lee" after last night's episode of Raw passed without an appearance from 'The Limitless One,' Meltzer stated that whether or not Lee will be able to make the planned United States Title Triple Threat match is unknown, which could mean Bobby Lashley defending his title against Riddle one-on-one.
The bout was announced last week, after Lee had beaten Riddle on Raw. This was Keith's first Raw match since the 11 January episode, when he wrestled twice.
Lee was pulled from the men's Royal Rumble on 31 January. Though there is no indication that this had anything to do with him not appearing at the pay-per-view, Lee's fiancee, Mia Yim, announced she had tested positive for COVID-19 the day before.
There's currently no news on what's going on with Lee that may mean him missing his second pay-per-view in a row. WWE is yet to formally announce a change to the United States Title match.
