Two weeks ago, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE had reached out to a number of former female talents to appear at WrestleMania 33. This naturally led to speculation on who had been contacted, and this week's Observer offers more details on the situation.

Kelly Kelly was backstage at Raw this week, and was interviewed for WWE's YouTube channel during the show. According to the Observer, Kelly is one of the women contacted about appearing at Mania, and as well as confirming her presence at Fan Axxess in Orlando, Kelly expressed her interest in another run with the company.

Former WWE Women's Champion Lisa "Victoria" Varon also teased a WrestleMania appearance on Snapchat this week, while Katie Lea Burchill posted a conveniently-timed photo with the recently returned Mickie James on Instagram. There's no word yet on what WWE have planned for the women, but speculation hints at a battle royal or similar multi-person match.

The current idea is for the Raw Women's Title to be defended in a four-way match between Bayley, Nia Jax, Sasha Banks, and Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 33, with Naomi expected to carry the SmackDown belt into her Orlando hometown.
